I really liked the pose I got from this little golden mantled ground squirrel on the old wooden fence in front of the bright yellow daisies at the Cedar Breaks National Monument overlook parking lot. Canon 5Diii, f8, 1/2500 sec, iso 400, -0.7 EV, 100-400 IS ii with 1.4 TC, at 560 mm. Thanks for your thoughts and suggested improvements.

Ed, my favorite ground squirrel!  I do like this one a lot.  The yellow BG sets the little guy off very well.  The alert pose is also very good.  Thanks for sharing.

Nice light, detail, background. What is not to like about this image.
