Nice sharpness and exposure. Good background. The larger version is very nice. I'd crop this to make it about the swallow and perch with less background.

He is beautiful, Barbara.  They have been annoying to us this year by roosting on the ledge on our porch, and making a mess!  But, I still say he is cute.  I agree with Richard.  That would also remove the 2 spots that I find distracting at the bottom of the image maybe.  Over all, an excellent shot.  He looks like he is posing for you.

It looks very crisp and you have a great palette in this one, Barbara. I would suggest a significant crop just to accent the swallow.

Thank you, Rich, Shirley and Dennis.  Shirley, I don't know why I didn't even see those two spots.  The crop took care of one and I cloned the other.  If anyone thinks this is too much of a crop, please let me know.

Oh, I love the repost, Barbara!  That is why I mentioned the spots, I wasn't sure the crop would take care of it.  I can look and look at my photos, and totally miss something like that.  I think we convince ourselves that everything is good, maybe because we are thrilled with the capture of the subject.  He is a beauty!

Nicer with the crop. Although I don't think you needed to go quite thast far. I'd probably keep the entire perch from the original post (with the two spots edited out), and put the swallow higher in the resulting cropped frame.

The crop is much nicer, Barbara.  I like Richard's suggestion as well, but it's pretty much a toss-up.

Stands out well against the background.  Good color and detail.  I think you could do a tighter crop As you did it the repost.
