Nice close-up look at the egret in flight.  The water droplets add to the sense of motion.  I like the wing position and the crop works well with the image.

A nice active flight shot. Interesting background that works well in this image.

Nice wing position and positioning of the egret in the frame, Peter.  In this one, it looks as if the focus is on the far wing as the near wing and even the head are slightly soft.  The exposure looks good.

Unlike the dynamic pose in this image better than the previous image.  Once again you've done an exceptional job with the white plumage.  Excellent techs on this one.  I've been looking at your images very closely because I have not been as pleased with my Sigma 150-600 mm telephoto as I would like.  The clarity of images from your Tamron lens appears to be exceptional for the amount of cropping you are doing.

Nice shot.
I have the gen 2 version of your lens and have been trying to get get used to it. It seems to be slow grabbing focus on my old 6d.
I wonder how would you get the near wing in focus also. Is this where a f/8 or 10 would help?
