Cool capture, Sandy. This kid is certainly well fed. I like head turn and the outstretched feet. May be too much to ask, but more free space RHS would help. Fun stuff

Very cute, Sandy. The plumage detail in both the adult and chick look excellent and I like hte way you were able to pick up the colors in the adult's head and neck.

Very cure Sandy! I hope (I get to photograph these guys one day). Looks like the light you had was a bit flat. I might consider adding some contrast and a touch of vibrancy and saturation.

Hi Sandy
Love the way the youngster is riding. I agree a bit more |"oomph" would help. Easily done.
Great stuff anyway

Hi Sandy
Nice work, you can't go wrong with chick going for a ride.

Fine look at parent and chick. I like the colors of the water as well and how they are similar to the coloring of the loon.

I like the composition of this image a lot and you caught a really special moment for this Loon. I think the whites are a little hot especially on the breast of the Loon. On my monitor at least which I believe is recently calibrated there is a lack of detail in the whites. The other colors however are just fine. Since no one else commented about this, it could be me. I've only seen about two or three loons up in my neck of the woods near Olympia and I've never seen one with juveniles on its back. To me that would be a special sighting.

Love it. Nice poses on both loons and just the right angle of light on the adults head to show of the iridescence. Perhaps just a little bit more room all around, but I do like it just as it is.

How absolutely precious Sandy. This is wonderful. Not to mention your photography of it. Beautiful. Looks like a mother's day card to me.
