This is the next frame of the Little Blue taken at Hammonasset Beach State Park,CT.
In this pond I photographed a Snowy Egret, Great Egret, Ibis and this Little Blue. The shot was taken hand held and is cropped by 30% in to a 16 by 9. I adjusted the exposure, contrast, shadows and clarity in Lightroom.

Nicely caught with good detail. On my monitor this looks a bit dark.

Hi Phil
Thank for the comment. I went back into Lightroom and increase the exposure by +.5 and dropped the shadows from 35 to 21.

Looks like you got a little more light here on this image than you did on the previous image and it appears that you have given it a little more room. Once again terrific detail and good color rendition. Nicely done.

Another very good shot of this bird, Peter. I like the vertical placement in the frame a bit better in this image. Either wing position works well for me. The repost does look better. Well done.

Peter, I like the bird's position and the frame placement is good. I like the grass reflections at the top as well, it adds a bit of contrast to the otherwise all blue image.
