This Utah slot canyon is very narrow, twisted, and, at least when I was there last month, heavily visited. Made shooting this fun but also a real challenge. D600, 14-24 f2.8 @ 20 and f20, 1.6 sec., iso 200, tripod, single image. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Looking good, Scott, Excellent detail in the sandstone including the water flow trails & markings. Very natural looking color and textures throughout......laugh

Slot canyons seem to offer unlimited photo ops.  I really like the "natural bridge" in this one.

Love the glow of the portal, Scott.  Beautiful job.  Seems like it's hard to find a spot that is not "heavily visited". No nits from me...excellent. Should make a very nice print.

The texture, color, lighting and DOF make this a great image!  The only thing that I could suggest is to reduce the direct light in the upper center a bit.  Great as is!.

Scott, this is beautiful! I love the the swirling X formation to the composition, and the portal is perfectly placed. The processing looks great to my eye. No nits from me. Great shot!

The twisting nature of the rocks does a great job of accentuating that hole along the the touch of sky reflection.  A fine change of pace from the typical slot canyon view, Scott.

The light is truly excellent, both in terms of tonality range and contrast between warm and cool colors. I can't think of any changes that I would made in terms of composition either.

Well done dodging the crowd, and you came away with a superb image. No nits, this is very nice and I appreciate that it is not overdone.

I like this a lot.  It is impressive without looking overprocessed or too "familiar."  Even if it is "heavily visited" It's good to see that you can find original views of places like this without repeating the same pictures we have seen over and over.

Outstanding and unique shot of this slot canyon. Love the light, colors, graphic elements. One of the best I have seen in that it is different from all the others of Antelope Canyon.

Beautiful shot, Scott!  It belongs on the front of a magazine, in my opinion!  I love the state of Utah for it's many variations of rock formations and colors of rocks as well.  I didn't get to visit slot canyon, so I appreciate you sharing this beautiful scene.

This is an absolutely cool image, Scott. The light is exquisite and is perfect for showcasing the nuances and details of these beautiful slot canyons. Perfect title BTW.
