I took this in the Frederick Sound of southeastern Alaska. I like the inclusion of a bit of the bird's environment. Nikon D500 and 80-400 lens at f/11, 1/1600 and ISO 320. Richard

This is pleasing Richard. Nice shot of the eagle, though wondering if you can pull a little more from the darks on its undersides. The snowy mountain peaks in the background really add a lot.

Nice flight pose and I like the inclusion of the mountain peak in the bg, Richard. It looks like there might be a hint of blue color cast and I think you could raise the exposure a bit.

Jim and Dennis: thanks for looking and commenting. @Dennis - normally when I post a photo to NPN I raise the exposure by a third or more as the website seems darken my posts a bit. This time I forgot to do so. Richard

Nice composition and I like the inclusion of the mountains in the background. I do think this is a little dark and you could probably have no difficulty pulling some more detail from the dark side of the wing. Tiny bit of blue cast could also be removed.

The mountain background adds a lot to the shot.

Thanks to all for your comments. I've lightened the photo and re-posted. I'm not seeing the blue cast. I did a WB check in LR and all three channels have identical readings, so.... Richard
