Two second year Trumpeter Cygnet/Swans on the tide flats at Valdez, Alaska.  They were a bit too distant for the 70-200mm so I used the 2X teleconverter.  That works out to ~600mm with the crop factor.

Sony a6500, FE 70-200 f2.8 GM @ 396mm, ISO-100, f/8.0, 1/400, hand held.

A very nice composition, Gary.  The raised foot on the rh bird reminds me of someone making a "rude" gesture.  Excellent detail.  That 70-200 seems to play nicely with your teleconverter.

Very well composed with the birds looking opposite directions, Gary. Very nice detail in the swans. Great job in these overcast conditions.

Great detail in these swans, Gary.  I do recommend that it be viewed in the large file to really appreciate this for what it is, a fine shot.

Beautiful color and detail in the larger version, which I highly recommend viewing.

The subjects look like 'Bookends' Gary. I think you did well considering the conditions and kit.
