A Green Heron surrounded by greenery!  I like it.  And I think you could even do a tighter crop here.  Good detail and exposure.  Nice textures in the foreground and background.

You did a nice job with the depth of field here, Barbara. Very nice to see so much of the vegetation in focus. This is a scene you see quite often in Florida and you captured it really well. Great job!!!

Wow, Barbara, no learning curve for you with your new equipment!  This is exquisite!  Great detail in the heron, and nice foreground focus as well.  Excellent exposure.  Well done!

Nice, Barbara.  good detail in the bird and it really pops from that bg.  I think you could crop this tighter and get the bird off center more in the vertical direction.  My personal preference would be to take some off the bottom and about equal amounts off the right and left sides, but that's just my taste.  You might consider cloning over the dark brown patch of water lettuce in the upper right as it does draw the eye.  Good work.

Barbara,  Very well captured image of a normally shy little bird.  Although a crop would work, I like your use of the generous environment.

Another fine capture, Barbara!  Exposure and focus are excellent and I really like the wider scene as it puts the bird more in the full context of it's environment.  You're doing great things lately.  Keep it up, I'm loving it cool
