Hello there,
This is a re-processed image of the initial attempt of blending. A few problems have been corrected based on the inputs. Also new technique is used here in the image, trying to show a feeling of light.

Beautiful scene. I lke the way you preserved the brightness that you would expect with the Sun showing here. I looked at the previous attempt, and I see the sky looks much better in this one. Looks like a difficult blending job. I do think that cloning out that hanging branch on top (left of center) is a good idea if you can do it cleanly.

Bo, the sky looks much better in this version. I also like your "new technique" on the rest of the image. Not sure what that technique is, but it looks good.

The edges of the trees on the right are still noticeably darker than the rest of the trees. I might work on smoothing that out a bit. I agree with Wayne's comment about removing the bit of branch.
