I captured several images of this bobcat in the open, but liked this one of him peaking out of the mesquite.  Curious if reviwers feel the OOF vegetation adds to the image or detracts.  7D2, 100-400mm @320mm, F5.6, 1/80, ISO 800, -0.3EC, tripod.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

Excellent portrait of this cat! Are there elements of man here? Dont see any...
Beautiful eyes and expression.
as far as the OOF vegetation, the only bit that detracts for me is the bit across his white throat.
Sweet image!

David: this is a fine shot and the oof vegetation is not a detraction at all. On the contrary it forms a very nice natural frame. I do think the photo would benefit from more contrast and even a bit of vignetting to emphasize the bobcat. This is a wall hanger. Richard

Very nice image.  I almost expect it to move.  Nice focus and catch-light on the eyes.  For me, the vegetation is not a problem.
