Great "eye" to pick this comp out of the chaos. I also like it with a little crop from the top.

Your ss choice is great for showing off the water motion, Don.  I especially like the pour over on the rock just left of center.  Your emphasis on the cluster of rocks (bottom center) looks good and is nicely supported by the subtler motions and rocks along the top.

Don, I have gone back several times to look at your lovely image that to me is both restful and inviting.  The water's blur shows the graceful flow of water but the partially exposed foreground rock really makes the image worth that second look.  Very nice!

You picked a really good shutter speed to portray the swiftness of the stream, Don.  I do think it might have had a bit more punch if you could have found a vantage point without the foreground shadow.

Don, this is a great composition, and the shutter speed looks great to me. Normally, I don't like these stream images in bright sunlight due to the contrast issues, but this one works really well. I agree with Dennis about the foreground shadow. It might be worth going back for another shot at a different time of day when everything is in the sun.
