Quietness

I often wonder why people like hiking in nature environment, such as lake side, see shores, forest. Perhaps it is because our ancestors live in this kind of environment and this makes us feel at peace.

When I look at this picture, I feel peace and quietness. Do you like it?

Thanks

I do like this composition, but I would reduce some of the blue/cyan.

Bo, this is indeed a very pleasant scene to me. The slight blue cast is consistent with the feel of "blue hour" to my eye.

Exactly it's shot blue hour. Hope it's not too blue.

I very much like the composition here.  I think the fact that we inherently find nature beautiful speaks of an evolutionary connection.  Nature isn't purposely being beautiful for us, but we've evolved to find it so. Not sure where that leads, but it's simply part of us now.
