Looks like a great bloom to make the centerpiece for this image. Nice job controlling the flare issues that I'm sure you encountered. Just a little crop cleanup needed at the top of the frame. Banner year for flowers out there I would suspect with all of the winter snow, though not sure this area received the big snows.

Daniel,
Wow, what a difference the larger view makes! This really shows off the depth and the great use of a multi-image focus stack. The smaller view, the branches up top are blocked up, but the larger view everything is visible and well balanced (give the time of day and direction of light.)
The flowers are showcased wonderfully here in this comp.
Not sure what the white line up top is and a bit on the upper right - I think that's what Harry was referring to on the crop clean up. Also, and very minor, I'd clone out the little blue flower at the bottom. No biggie really.
Well done!
Lon

This is a fine take on Balsamroot in bloom, Daniel. The backlit blooms look great and lead my eyes into the distance where I can enjoy the sunburst.

Lovely intimate view of balsamroot.
They swept me through it.
Nice look at the yearly bloom with a bit of a different take.

A very bright and colorful view of the flowers and I like how the flare star mimics the flowers. The large view is a must see in this one as it provides all kinds of extra detail in the flowers and has much more presence. Nicely shot, Daniel!

Beautiful bloom and very nice image. Definitely needs to be viewed large, too.

This is wonderful Daniel. I don't think I have seen sun flowers with such an amazing background.

I was hoping for a clear sun in my Balsamroot image, but the clouds did not cooperate. Nice job catching one here!
