This was taken along the front range of Colorado, just south of the town of Castle Rock.

Hi Michael,

I like the overall presentation with the lightning bolt placed strategically in the frame. The clouds are colorful but ominous and reveal the arrival of this storm. Well done...........................Jim

Wow! Michael, what a great catch with the colorful clouds and an amazing bolt of lightning. Being able to see the foreground in the larger version add well to the sense of place.

Michael, what a powerful storm image! I love the red, white and blue colors in the sky, and of course the lightning is great. I might clone out the few small lights on the horizon, if you're so inclined.

Thank you all for the input and comments. Craig, I gave some thought to your suggestion I decided to leave the image as it is. I think the few lights that are scattered in the image add to the feel of a rural setting. To me, it appears that all the storms power has been funneled down to that bolt of lightning.
