Really fine classic pose on this nuthatch. Terrific detail and color against a superb dappled background. I like the perch and how the nuthatch is holding on tightly.

This is probably the best nuthatch image I've seen, John. Everything came together with a perfect Nuthatch pose, a wonderful perch of the right size and a bg with enough texture in it to provide a little interest. Just beautiful.

Nice and classical pose of a bird that I hear actually calling while typing this line. I like especially the color scheme of this image, not harsh but nice and sweet light. Great one, John ! Cheers, Hans
