Black-and-white Warbler

I found this Black-and-white Warbler in southwest Missouri. The warblers are showing up a little early this year.
If anyone can identify the tree by the bark, I would appreciate it, I can't seem to identify it.

A very nice image of this warbler. Terrific pose and composition. It's an interesting juxtaposition between the colors of the tree and the background versus the colors of the bird.
