I enjoy finding old abandoned buildings and wondering what the history is behind them. Time never stands still. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Nice perspective on this old out house and barn (?). For some reason, the plants with the seed pods really add a lot to this for me. The brown dead plants nicely add to the mood of the old place. Not a biggie, but I might clone out the tree branches coming in from the left? Well done, Richard.

Richard,

I like this as well and I too love the old buildings.  You've done a great job in showcasing this by also including the trees and grasses. (I'm sure you spent some time here closer in as well...)

I like where Harley is going with his cloning suggestion.  I'd take it a step further and crop in slightly from the left. I think there is a natural break between the trees on the left, and plus I'm not sure the extra view to the left bg adds to the image. At the same time, I'd crop slightly from the bottom to eliminate the brighter, slightly oof dried grass in the LRC.

Also, this doesn't jump right out, but all the reds (rusty metal parts) look a bit too saturated.  But then again, it makes all those details come through.

Lon

I think this would make a nice black-and-white or even sepia toned image.  Lot to look at.  With respect to the historical aspect, it sure makes me think and evaluate the image in a very different perspective.
