Brady Building Reflected

Many of the old window panes in Columbia produce very interesting and abstract reflections. The flow of the leaded glass over the years makes such reflections possible. I decided to retain the window frame and a small portion of the iron door on the left edge.

I love reflections and this one is excellent. The lower left (grass?) looks like a signature giving it a painting look. Very nice.

Preston,

These old glass panes are just wonderful! Like melting wax or something - giving anything being reflected a purely abstract look.  I really like your framing here, including the outside frames - although wondering where the top is?  ;-)

What's also fascinating is having both a reflection as well as the "see-thru" element.  I'm not 100% sure, but the flame-like "signature" at the bottom I think may be lighting from behind the glass, rather than a reflection something.  I could be wrong.

Love the colors, framing. well seen!

The window frame gives a frame of reference to the image. I like finding these old housed and using them to create interesting images. This is very well seen and photographed.

Very nice effect here.  Almost painterly.  In fact not even almost.  It is painterly.  Good abstraction and nice lines.
