First one to tackle this narrow but tall ice fall.  I liked the contrast of the ice against the reddish rock wall.  Taken in Keystone Canyon, near Valdez, Alaska.

Sony a6500, FE 70-200 f2.8 GSM @ 198mm, ISO-100, f/4.0, 1/3200, hand held.

Lots of nice detail in this one so view large.

This would work for the  Man and Nature gallery too.
Love this - spectacular ice, nicely contrasting with the red rocks and snow suit clothing, great detail.
I like the crop as well - accentuates the ice column.
Great work!

Wonderful detail in the ice Gary.  Of course the climber adds a lot of interest too.

The details in the larger view make this an outstanding view, Gary.  The ice fall looks great and having parts covered with snow adds extra interest.  The contrast with the red rocks works very well. and the lighting does a fine job of showing off the various textures.  The climber looks like he's hanging by his one hand and his gear coordinates well with the colored rocks.

Another nice action shot.  This one gets close and personal and you can see what's going on with this climb.  Good colors and contrasts.  The textures are well seen in the larger image.

Hardy souls for sure, Gary.  I loved the detail in the large.  Excellent ice climbing image.

On the surface this is an interesting action shot, but I also enjoy the details.  Snow gathering on the ripples of a frozen waterfall makes some of my favorite winter images.

Great action shot Gary. Nice detail in the ice and rock, interesting colors, and way to handle the tough light reflecting off all that white.
