Established in 1857, this old saloon has been in continuous use up to the present day.

I considered cloning out the leaves in the upper right corner, but due to the difficulty of doing so, I let them remain.

Attractive place, Preston, especially framed by the tree on the right. I googled the saloon to read more about it. Sounds like a great place to hang out. Same with Columbia. I love that area of California, but I've never been to Columbia.

Now this is my kind of local icon, Preston!  Looks like a great place to hang out and have a beer or glass of wine.  Continuous operation since 1857 is amazing, sure would be fun to hear the building tell stories....

The image is very well balanced and inviting with the wooden doors and well maintained bricks.  The green leaf in the upper left doesn't bother me at all.  If your really want to clone it out, you might try cloning in some of the leaves and bricks from the other side, although getting the bricks to line up is sure to be a challenge.

The saloon has a nice entrance and seems like it would be a nice place to pull up a stool for a draft.  I like the overhanging limb and wet boardwalk and feel they add a lot.  If this image is going beyond an internet post, cloning out the leaves in the ULC would be a benefit.
