An excellent job of stacking, John. This is the kind of stack that winds up with crossover errors and halos, creating a really tedious job of editing. Well done. A few minor nits: It could use a bit more room at the bottom, where there is clipping of two leaves; and the BG paper has some jarring blue cast (at least to my eye), that might look better by either changing the white balance or selectively desaturating the blue.

Will have a play. I may have some with  more space and  different BG. I tried to get the effect of sky but didn,t do a very good job !!

Very nicely composed image with great color and detail!  I prefer the original version.  I like the bg in the original version better because I think the blue areas look good with the blue in the berries.  Also, in the second version with the space added on the bottom, the plant looks to me like it's floating in midair!

Thanks barb
Yes it was a hard one to work on indeed ! The berries are not quite as "punchy" as the first.
PS The floating effect is because the stems are all down behind the clump.. I know what you mean though.
Thanks for commenting

John: This may be my favorite image that you've posted. For me the original looks pretty darn good. I like the blue and the unevenness of it. A most excellent shot. >=))>

Well done, John. I also like this a lot. I prefer the repost due to the less contrasty bg, but maybe take a bit off the bottom to reduce the floating look.

Hello John, excellent stack. I like the first image. Because the colors are more vibrant.

A gorgeous composition, John, and your stacking is excellent.  Beautiful work.  I like the colors in the first version, though I agree with Phil on a little more room on the bottom.  On my screen, maybe a centimeter under the leaf tips?

Nice! Excellent job of stacking - everything is tack-sharp.
I'd also add a bit of canvas on the bottom, but I don't see any "jarring" blue bg down there.
Congrats on a fine WP!
