And in We Go!

Luckily most aquatic birds seem well insulated, because despite the appearance of my last post, they did not really hesitate at all at the edge of the ice, but just plunged on it.  I liked the moment I caught on this one.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 403 mm, beanbag on car window, f/11, 1/800, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.   Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Took some canvas off the top, added some to the bottom and left using Content aware fill and some cleanup.  Taken at 10:32 on December 6th.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice image Dennis.  Coots have a knack for looking absurd and humorous, and this one shows it well.  Good job on the canvas additions.  I do see some repeating patterns at the bottom, but wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it.

This has been an interesting series Dennis. Very sharp details and I like that giant foot in the air. Nice work all around.  devil
