Almost Grown

by Jerry Austin

I found this handsome guy/gal sitting in a tall tree on the bank of the Mississippi River. From the few dark feathers on his head, I would say that he is 3 or 4 years old. Next year, I suspect his head will be pure white. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice pose, Jerry.  Good job on the exposure.

Nice image Jerry.  This bird looks really angry.  The angst of puberty?
