Hi Nishand. A nice group of ducks, though it's usually more interesting if you can catch them not flying away from the camera. There is a problem with the image quality in that there's so much pixelation that it's difficult to judge whether the focus was really good or not. There could be a number of causes for this: If you're not saving images in the camera in the largest camera RAW mode available, you should do so. That will give you the most information possible when you process the image. Another possibility is that this was a large crop, but given the scene, I doubt that that is the case. The third possibility is that there is an issue with how your image was converted to jpeg format and resized for posting on the web. If you can provide detailed information on your camera settings and your processing software and procedure, someone here should be able to give you a hand with all these issues.
By the way, when I buy a new camera, I always do a search on setting it up for bird photography. There are always a few respected pros who post their opinions and they provide a great place to start.
Keep on shooting and posting. This is a great place to learn.
