End of Day- WC 767

This image was taken last month in Yachats, Oregon.  The weather had been mostly rainy during my stay, but I was fortunate to notice when a partial clearing appeared in the sky late one afternoon.  I  grabbed my camera and headed down to the basalt rocks that line the shoreline for a couple of quick shots before the clouds closed in for the evening.

A beautiful end of the day view, Paula.  The streaks of sunlit clouds radiating out from the sun do a great job of pulling my eyes into the distance.  The details in the rocks and waves as well as the golden reflections give the foreground a strong presence.  Easy to see why you like this one, it would make a great inspirational poster.

Paula, wonderful dramatic end of day scene. You took advantage of the sun in the perfect setting too.....laugh

A wonderful stormy seascape, Paula.  The light through the clouds and reflected off the waves really makes this image.

A dramatic image with very nice highlights from the sky reflected off the water.  Nice golden tones contrasting with the Bluewater.  The shape of the clouds; both the cloud bank on the water and the fanned out clouds above the sun are very nice.  You are certainly in the right place at the right time to take advantage of this view.  Good job.

Dramatic and beautiful. Love the colors and action in the sky. Very painterly scene, which I love. I am wondering about the big rock on the right and if it could be cloned out or cropped. It doesn't fit with the rest of the image, IMO. Great image.
