From this year's Florida Spring Break Tour on a side cove off the St Johns River. There a several, what I call Eagle Trees, in the area where I conduct my tour each year. These are excellent perching trees for the local Eagles to survey their territory and watch the Ospreys fish. Each tree has multiple Osprey nest with mating pairs within view and they are ready to swoop in and try and steal any and all fish caught by the Ospreys. This particular morning while we were making the rounds, to my surprise, there was a lone Turkey enjoying this eagle tree, something I've never seen before in my many years of coming to this area. We waited awhile to see what may happen to the Turkey if an Eagle did show up but were not so lucky this day. Cropped to 8 x 10 format all off the right side, hand held from boat.
