Awareness

No. 5 in my series of photos of a juvenile Bald Eagle that I was able to sneak up on.  After I shot a number of photos while standing there in pretty much plain sight, it had almost finished off the salmon and was beginning to suspect that I was not quite a familiar natural object. When I took this shot, it was actually steadily looking directly at me for the first time as the awareness of my presence began to sink in.

Sony a6300, FE-70200-f/2.8 GM w/2XTC @ 328mm, ISO-100, f/5.6, 1/640, hand held.

An excellent finale for the series (unless you caught it taking off), Gary.  A really interesting series and a great stalking job.  I really like the light in this one.
