Of the two mallard images you have posted, this one is better.  I suppose the separation of the two ducks makes it a little more interesting all of the other one had some humor qualities.  Good detail here.  I also like the quality of the light.

I definitely like this one better than the previous post, Jerry!  The exposure is even better which is resulting in better colors and sharper details.  Very nice shot!

Hi Jerry. Your 2nd take of the Tailgater is much better. Both birds are in sharp focus and I particularly like the imparted sideslipping motion of the lower bird.
I like also the facial expression of the upper bird, showing perhaps some degree of apprehension while executing this somewhat risky exercise. There’s certainly a touch of humor here. One small nit concerns the left leg of the lower bird - it appears to me to be sprouting from its belly. If it were mine I think I'd move it back a little to give yet more credibility. David

I think I like this one better than the last, Jerry.  The sense if imminent collision isn't quite as strong, but the composition feels better and the view of the second bird is decidedly better.

Jerry,

I am with the others and agree that this image is nicer due to the stronger separation of both ducks. Also their poses are more appealing devil
