This trunk has seen its day. I like that you included some of the moss in the image.

Lovely color and detail, and the textures come across nicely. My only nit is the white spot in the lower left corner where your copyright symbol is located. I also like the moss and the needles.

Nice work Alberto! The colors, textures and details are just wonderful. Feels like I could reach right out and touch this.

Very nice intimate scene. I agree with Preston about the white spot.It almost looks like it is part of your watermark?

I like this one very much, Alberto, primarily because of its personality. Rather than just concentrating on texture and color the shape and position of roots suggest powerful limbs. There's a sense of mass and stolidity in the overall trunk. I would darken the bright green branches a bit because they take your attention away from the trunk.

Most definitely better large!  The larger view really shows off the tones and the textures wonderfully, Alberto.  You've got a fine balance between the warmth of the wood up top and the weathered root area.  There's also a fine collection of greens that contrast well with the golden tones in the trunk.

Alberto,

Resilience, perseverance, determination, longevity.... there are many words that could fit here. The way you've tightened the comp really helps tell the story and allow for those adjectives.  Well seen and captured, including the bit of pine bows.

Only minor suggestions would be a slight burn along the top.

Processing excellent as well.

Love the texture of this old bristlecone.  The inclusion of the green needles on the right really add to the story.

I like your use of diagonals and the textures and details of the ancient bristlecone really shine in the large version, Alberto.

The larger version looks stunning, Alberto. I like both the shapes and the colors. To me, the upper right part is a little bit distracting.
