At the dawn of a foggy night the flower of Anemone wakes up fully wet and ready to complete its blooming.

Beautiful royal purple on black presentation, Gigi. Just a fine look. In this light, the soft anemone has a metallic appearance, right down to the gold metal center. Gorgeous.

Scott said exactly what I was going to say especially about the metallic look.

Bravo! You took the path less traveled to freeze this early in its development. Top-notch...the added curl of unopened and up-ended petals signals greater depth and interest. Well done!

You always take good photos, but this one is a cut above. I like the metallic sheen, the rich blue, purple and gold. I get the sense of a dramatic scene unfolding to a perfectly set stage. Fantastic!

In opposition to your high key images, this has deep, rich color palette. Strikingly beautiful!
