Canon EOS 7D EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS
1/800 sec;   f/5.6;   ISO 640
Manual;   Spot metering
LR5, PS6, Topaz Details, Curves, Vibrance, brightening, and other things I'm not sure of

I'm visiting my daughter and her family, and I came home from having lunch with my first-grade grandson yesterday and I noticed this little tree in her front yard that I hadn't noticed before.  (You don't want me to ever be called on as an eye-witness to anything.)  I just thought it was too pretty to not capture in an image.  I like the structure that I feel like the branches provide.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Beautiful fall colours.
I see you are using PS6 - try the "shadow/highlight" slider to lessen some of the dark areas. a Very soft touch, as the shadow filter is sensitive.
Nice work!

I love the dappled light and the gorgeous colors in this one, Barbara.  Well done.

I agree with Sandy. You might do the same for the few bright leaves in the LLC. I see a fair amount of pine straw drapage, which does no particular harm, except the one which crosses the open area in the LLC. I would clone that one out.

Our eyes automatically complete the many diagonal lines interrupted by the leaves creating a dynamic image; and the colors: beautiful.

Barbara: Frame filling fantastic. Love the light especially. I would be tempted to crop away the bright area on the top edge of the frame. >=))>

I like the contrast between the golden leaves and the dark branches.  Also, how you have filled the frame.  Thanks for sharing.
