Assume Nothing
Like with many of my images, I am surprised at what this image became. I'm not to good at what Ansel Adams termed "visualization" -- In my mind's eye, I visualize how a particular... sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me, there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense, an ability that comes from a lot of practice.
But no regrets. I'm fine with the image telling me what it wants as it develops and letting it help determine it's final form. These surprise outcomes that happen in post-processing are as much fun as being surprised by what I see with the camera. It's like finding an entirely new picture twice.
Nikon D 7200, 18-300 zoom.

12 commentsA wonderful abstract with warm tones up against cool blues. I do not want to know what it is, but instead, I'll let my imagination try to figure this one out. Well done.........................Jim
