Bar Shadows

Interesting shadows created by window bars in Orgosolo, Sardinia.  This is a fascinating town, once known for its bandits, but now the walls of many of its buildings have become murals for politically themed art.  The whole town is essentially an art museum and well worth a visit.

Here is an example of some of the political art in the town.  This one is tame...

David: the bar shadows are neat, but I like the wall art better.cool Here's a translation based on my limited Italian.
Man want to be a fish or bird
The serpent would like to have wings
The dog is a lost lion
The engineer want to be a poet
The fly studies to be a swallow
The poet seeks to imitate the fly
But the cat wants to be a cat

Thanks for the translation Richard.  That is essentially correct.  As I said, this is tame compared to others in town.  You may wish to google the town to see more.

There's lots of stories an image like this can tell a viewer.  I liked it quite well even before I read your narrative.

The window is cool. Nice tones, mix of light and shapes and textures. Well done.
