Osprey

The Osprey flew low and pretty much right over me and wonder of wonders the auto-focus latched on to him.  It was an overcast gray day on the Oregon coast, so I fudged the background using a gradient adjustment layer in PS.

Well caught, Allen. Definition and exposure are spot on. The graduted color shading, left to right is a novel approach to solving the problem of an unattractive background.

Nice detail and exposure, Allen, and the gradient worked very well as a bg.  Well done.

Nice work in PS. I see a slight halo, especially on the leading edge. Not sure if it is backlighting or a processing artifact.

Very nice look from below on this osprey.  I like your solution for your background.  The detail is really nice and the wing position is equally as nice.
