Beautiful colors; nice sense of depth. My only thought would be to clone out the stump in the foreground. Lovely composition.

I really like the color and the depth of the scene, Ian. The tree has a wonderful shape that you framed very nicely. I agree about the stump. The light is well rendered.

Truly atmospheric, Ian - it perfectly says "November", one of my two favorite months (October is the other one). The stump does not bother me, I do find the out of focus leaves in the center a bit distracting, but minor stuff.

Beautiful light and I love the character of that main tree, Ian. My only suggestion would be the already mentioned cloning out the stump. Beautiful work.

A very peaceful fall scene. The colours are lovely, and your low angle gives a perfect perspective. In this case, the centering works very well. I have mixed feelings about the stump..

I agree, I am mixed about the stump, since the tree is dead center, the stump seems to throw off the balance. but in some ways I like that. Great color and nice angle

Beautiful lines and color. The stump does not bother me, but like Alberto, I find the soft leaves in the center a bit distracting.

The stump doesn't bother me. I love the comp where the tree fans out from the center of the image. The vertical trunks in the BG make a nice counter balance.

I very much like the centered tree which holds together the entire image with its mighty branches. Just the right amount of foreground imo. Beautiful fall colours and the pale blue sky shimmering through the leaves provides a fresh and light feeling. What strikes me is the complete lack of undergrowth and dead wood (like in many a Dutch forest...).

An appealing autumn impression to me, Ian. I especially enjoy the serene atmosphere and the transition of colors.

A wonderful low angle view of this Cheshire woodland. The stump would be too much for me to clone out and I'm fine with it as is. The motion blur of the front leaves bothers some but the image still works for me. One of those places that makes one want to walk into the scene.

I like how you separated the main subject from the support group with the shape of the branches. The prima ballerina from the chorus.

I like this and I think the strength is being able to combine the tree, it's canopy, yet still allow the depth and the rest of the autumn forest be showcased; including the forest floor covered with the leaves. I too wish the stump wasn't there, but in the end, it's not a big distraction, it's just part of the scene.

The central composition works very well here. I like the natural rendering of the colours. If it were mine I would attempt to clone out the stump.
