During the annual great migration the wildebeest follow the rains in search of greener pastures. That particular evening the clouds were ready to burst over the sunlit Mara.

Many may not appreciate this, since it's "out of the box" ..... I think it's stunning.
The layer of grass on the bottom might  be leveled - more depth on the left than on the right.

Terrific color transitions and silhouette.  Very nicely done.

Ingrid, such a thoughtful image!  I especially like the bleakness of the scene that suggest the struggle of the lone Wildebeest.  Very nice.

Ingrid: this is stunning. The lone animal in silhouette and the two tones in the sky all add up to high visual impact.A fine example of less is more.  Congrats!! Richard

Ingrid, I love the colors here and really like the minimalist look you've achieved.  However, I feel it's just a tad too tight on the bottom.  No more than double the amount the grass would give the wildebeest more breathing room against the bottom edge without interfering with the minimalism you've achieved, IMO.
