Buff-tailed Coronets

Here's a couple of Buff-tailed Coronets photographed on our multi-flash setup on this year's Ecuador tour.  I wish I hadn't clipped the wing of the bird on the left but I really liked the 2 poses.
Canon 5D3 500F4 1/200 F20, iso 400, 5 Nikon SB-slave flashes fired by 580ex, the slaves can be fired by any other flash, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley head.

Looks to me like it would be fairly easy to add a touch of canvas on the left and round off the couple of feathers that got clipped, Nate.  Very cool action.

Wow,  Nice poses on both birds.  Love the splayed tail.  I might be tempted to add a little canvas on the left and rehab the wing?

Cool shot Nate. Definitely worth putting some time in on it to add canvas and wing tips. The image has great detail.

Nice to get 2 interesting poses in one frame.  I suppose you could've always added some space in Photoshop to the left side of the frame.  Both birds are very sharp.  Nice to see some birds that I've never seen before.

Hello Nate, Very Cool!:)  Getting two birds with one snap is always Amazing, much better than using a stone.  Both seem sharp and excellent detailed. Thanks for sharing
