Fall in the Garden

Taken this morning at the local gardens. One of the nice things about a public gardens or arboretum is you can find a lot of unique varities of trees close together. There are at least six different varities of decidous trees, plus several varieties of pines, represented here. The trees were all growing in the same area of the gardens, but I assisted mother nature (and the gardens architect) with this arrangement. D600, 24-85 zoom @ 66, f20, .5, iso 200. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

This is so nice. Compositions like this often look busy but you pulled this off beautifully. Simply an excellent image.

Excellent.  Hope it is still there when the first, heavy frost hits.

Lovely, Scott.  There are all kinds of fun and interesting details in this image, and I like the way you placed the four brownish leaves to draw the eye in a curve around the image.  I'm still collecting goodies for one of these, hopefully sometime this week.

I am a fan of this composition.  With the many leaf shapes, colors and sizes you have created a solid feast for the eyes.  I think they would best be seen as a print on a wall at least 2 meters wide where the details would surround the viewer.  I will admit that the mold or fungus on the oak leaves draws a lot of attention.  Sweet shot!

Scott, There are so many subjects, shapes, colors and details to explore. The larger version is very beautiful. My favorite part is that pine cone. Lovely and excellent work!

Beautiful, Scott.  I love the diversity of shapes and colors.  Very nice.  I have to do this sometime (when I'm not overwhelmed with teaching in the Fall, alas).

Masterly dosed lights and low saturated colors are for me two qualities of this splendid image taken in your best style. I love the photo Ianz.
