Silver and Gold

A few nights over the past few falls had been spent near Silver Jack in hopes of a nice sunrise or sunset.  Finally this year, I was able to catch a nice sunset over Pinnacle Ridge.  As always, your brutal honesty is welcome ;-)

Doug: Great conditions superbly captured. Really impressive aspen grove and the late light is marvelous. Very well done.>=))>

I think it has an overall magenta caste to it. Nice layered comp.

Beautiful horizontal layered composition that's well suited for the widescreen format. I particularly like how the sky was handled. Very natural looking clouds.

Beautiful fall color and killer sky.  The only thing i might suggest for improvement is to clone the road. Very nice work.

Nice comp and good balance of light across the frame.  Glad you finally got what you wanted.

Gorgeous image, Doug. Everything really came together in this one, and I like the semi-pano comp.

Very well composed, Doug. The Autumn at its best. Good contrast between the yellow and  the soft pink shade.

Real sweet fall color image. Great patch of aspen and a fine sky to compliment it. I agree with Gary's suggestion about the road.

A beautiful mix of golden aspens and pink/magenta clouds, Doug.  Your choice of a pano fits very well.

Doug, great shot! The sky and aspen are amazing, and the composition is great with the opposing diagonals of light and dark.
I could go either way on the cloning of the road.

Beautiful capture Doug.  I love the contrast between the rich golden color and the soft pastels and the opposing diagonals play nicely off one another.
