Grand Haven, MI pier showing how the winds of November on the Great Lakes are not fiction.
Other than a slight crop from the right side, no manipulation besides normal editing.

Lighthouse in stormy weather...can't ask for anything better! Nicely composed and great timing on the water spray. I like the colors and that dark storm cloud really adds a lot to the drama of the scene. Super work Toni! :toast:

Hey, that's MY pier! And where's your trained seagull?

Other than those 2 nits, cool shot & looks verrry familiar...
For non-natives, there are signs at the entrance to the pier warning people not to walk out on it during inclement weather. THIS is why!

As for the seagulls.......this was before I learned how to train them. :jump:

Sure does look windy and cold out there on that pier, Toni. Vic already mentioned this, but superb timing on the wave action and the dark ominous cloud.

Toni: Makes me want to go there! Rough weather is so cool. I'm torn about the cloud. Cropping it off gives a different feel but I'm not sure it's better. Nice catch. ><>

Thank you:) Now you see why this is a favorite spot of mine to shoot, all types of weather to bring in new photo ops. This one was taken when the water levels were still high, probably in the late 1990's. The lake level was down well over 3 feet but steadily gaining again now!
