WC #165 - Undine Falls, Yellowstone NP.

An oldy but goody of mine. This was the first subject I ever photographed in Yellowstone NP on my first morning ever there. The sky was filled with fine powder snow creating a perfect softbox for photographing a waterfall.

I like the composition of this, with the falls a little off to the side rather than centered. Good exposure, Bob!

I think it's a great photo. I like the composition and the off centered falls. I like the contrast of the silky flowing water vs. the white detailed shapes of the trees. It's kind of a white on white image. Nice exposure and good detail. Good job.

At first when I looked i though this was an intimate landscape view of a cascade on a small stream because of the relatively equal proportional relationship of the cascades. Then I noticed the really BIG trees. The water really grabs your attention; I like how it flows thru the pic. Great composition. (Obviously I have never been there.) :toast:

I thought I had a decent photo in this weekly challenge, then I saw your photo. Your photo is top shelf material. To me, I like the snow covered trees that give it a cool feeling contrasted with the waterfall which gives the photo a warm feeling. I can see why this is a "goody" of yours. Nice job.
