Firehole River Osprey

I found this guy along the Firehole River in Yellowstone. He had just attempted to catch a trout. He missed and got very wet. He violently shook the water off just after I took this image. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015.6.1) and Photoshop CC (2015.5) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Great pose and excellent detail, Jerry.  Most of the bird looks a bit dark-you might separate the highlights and raise the brightness of the rest of the image a little bit.

Dennis, thanks for the comments. I lightened up the dark underside a bit.

Very sharp, great detail, perfect pose.  I like the lightened underside.  I might also lighten the sky a bit.

Jerry, nice catch. I agree with Barbara concerning lightening the sky, it just appears a little too dark to be natural to me. (Even if it was that saturated.) Really cool flight pose. Wing position is perfect.
