Fox Carrying Kit

Here's another shot from our Pantanal, Brazil trip.  On the last day of the trip, we saw this Crab-eating Fox carrying it's young from under the deck of the lodge (Piuval Lodge) to a culvert down the road.  It had rained the night before and the den under the deck must have become too wet for them.  The mother carried all the babies (5 or 6) one at a time from the old den to the new den.

Excellent image. Like the focus with blurred background and foreground. Excellent story; one that could have had a very tragic ending but apparently did not.

That's a young kit! Great low angle and soft colours here.

Good job on recognizing the pattern and catching this shot!  Love the low perspective and the intensity of her focus.   The newborn appearance of the babe really grabs my interest.

Wow, that looks like a really new one Nate. Momma sure looks like she is on a laser focus too. Great behavior shot and very nice look at her.

How amazing to see kits this small.  Nice job setting up ahead of the action, Nate.
