Tightrope

While this fly appears to be doing some tightrope walking or flying at an odd angle, in reality, it is caught in a spider web. This gave me a chance to shoot it and the viola. D600, 150 macro, 1/500, f6.3, iso 200, tripod and release. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Cool!  Without being able to see the spider's web, that fly looks like its coming in upside down.  The colors in the viola and the background are great also.

Beautiful BG and color scheme in the frame ...and the circus by the fly is very nice...could not have gone closer?
Nice work anyways.

I could have gotten closer, Balan, but I wanted a shot of both the fly and the flower, as if the fly was in flight. The fly was actually, well, not alive and a fly, so I was not that interested in a close up.   angel

Wonderful colors and a neat subject, Scott.  I'm debating with myself whether it would be more impressive with the spider web visible or not, but I sure like it this way.
