Not Quite Feathered...

Gallery: Weekly ChallengePosted July 1, 201668 views4 comments
While I was exploring at Okeeheelee Nature Preserve, I came across this mother racoon eating bird seed from the bird feeder. I couldn't help but think how cute this was. I sat down on a nearby bench and snapped a few pictures before continuing on my exploration. I know this doesn't quite qualify for the weekly challenge, but I just wanted to share it because I thought htat it was cute and almost applicable. :)

Hi Nolan,

The tongue sticking out is a special touch. I like the look of extreme effort the raccoon has on its face while tryiung to snag a quick snack. Well done..................................Jim

You caught a great pose here, Nolan, especially with the pink tongue sticking out.  I'd say it qualifies, that sure looks like a bird feeder...while the details say feathered friends, my broad interpretation is that the attraction of the feeder takes precedence over who's feeding.
