Soothing tones and excellent choice using the zoom to accentuate and compress the layers. Fog rocks!  Maybe a little too cyan and in the shadows, though viewing on uncelebrated monitor so take that part with a grain of salt.  What a location to cal home!

I love this! Great layering and atmosphere...and that sky is fantastic!

I agree with Harry on the cyan, and it appears that you have some masking errors on the border between St. Helens and the darker ridge in front all the way across, and also a few super-cyan parts on top of the mountain.

Daniel: I really like the numerous layers of clouds and forest leading up to the mountain. There does seem to be a bit of a cyan cast which is easily addressed. Fabulous otherwise. Richard

Outstanding view, one I have not seen before. I might reduce the blues a it.
The  fog is really nice.

Hi Daniel,

So many beautiful layers captured in this inspiring view of Mt. Saint Helens. Just reduce a bit of the blue in the shadows, and this image is about perfectly seen and captured for my tastes. I have not seen such a beautiful view of Mt Saint Helens in my current life, wonderfully captured!!!devil

I really like how the cloud layers convey depth in this scene.  I could see warming up the color balance just a little, but nicely done overall.

Outstanding Daniel. Way to take advantage of some awesome conditions.  Love the low lying clouds and fog, not to mention the  sky above St Helens.  Very, very nice.

I'll add to the nit about the cyan, but otherwise this is just outstanding Daniel!!! One of the more unique shots of Helens that I've seen. The large version is essential, because there is interest in all the varied layers leading up to the mountain. Well seen scene!devil

Love the amazing receding layers and lines of cloud and ridge all leading the eye back to the stunning mountain and sky.  Excellent work.
