Valdez Glacier Remnants

This small lake used to be the face of the Valdez Glacier at Valdez, Alaska.  When I was a child the face was over a hundred feet high and you could see it over the trees from a long ways away.  Now the glacier has receded around the corner and there are these few remaining icebergs and chunks.

Sony ILCE-6300, SEL 16-70 Z, ISO-100, f/16.0, 1/320, hand held.

Good thing Global Warming is a hoax.  Nice reflections.

Yes, an excellent catch on these glacial remnants, fine reflections, great icebergs.  It's pretty amazing what "a few years" have done with respect to changes in our local environments.

Beautiful scene, Gary, despite the reason for it.  I love the reflections.
