Woodland Rivulet

Small streams have formed over time in this wet woodland, normally with willows on the banks as well as sycamores or chestnuts which have colonised the area.  Fallen trees are common, but here only just visible in mid-distance.

Another fine and refreshing woodland image, Ian.  I like the quality of light here.  We were a 109 degrees yesterday and probably hotter today. :-(

Very nice woodland scene.  Well composed for all the business that's going on. The shaded cluster of leaves in the left FG helps a lot.
