Sorry this image is very similar to one posted in M&N a couple weeks ago, but it's the one that came to mind as meeting this challenge. This is from a visit to Death Valley a couple weeks ago while in the area (Vegas) to attend a two day business seminar. I arrived in Vegas in the evening, rented a car, went to REI for camping supplies and to walmart for groceries, and then drove to Death Valley, arriving at Zabriskie Pt. at 2:30 am. It was crystal clear, and I got excited about shooting the Milky Way, which was truly brilliant and something I never get to see and shoot back home in NE Ohio. Anyway, it took awhile to unpack, organize my equipment, and walk up the hill, and by the time I set up, the clouds had rolled in and the Milky Way was gone.

But, four hours (and 3 hours of sleep) later, the same clouds gave me this nice sunrise instead.
